Unleashed The Custom Boot Animation For Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 Gingerbread XXKP9

Any Custom Boot Animation Can Be Used For Our Phone Just Like Any Custom Firmware

Dont Forget To Backup First

I Have Attached The Custom Booting.zip File
Which Contain 2 files

1) bootanimation
2) samsungani

NOTE : Files Should Be Executable
ie. Permission should be rwxr_xr_x (r=read, w=write, x= executable)

These Two Files Have to be copied to /system/bin With Root Explorer Or Any Thing Like That

The Next File I am Attaching Is sanim.zip

sanim.zip file must be copied To /system/media

The sanim contains the PNG files Which Can be edited As your will

Important Note::

The Size Of The PNG files(Resolution) Must be specified in the desc.txt

Here 480 800 is the resolution of the files used here

Change tracer path color of Swype (Android)

This is a tutorial to change the trail path color of Swype keyboard.

What you need?
1. Root access
2. HexEditorfrom market
3. Hex color code references. here

Please do it at your own risk

Instructions to change the tail path color:
1. First back up your libSwypeCore.so from /system/lib/libSwypeCore.so
2. Open HexEditor and browse to the /system/lib/libSwypeCore.so using hexeditor /Menu>Open file>/system/lib//system/lib/libSwypeCore.so.
3. Froyo version of Swype: Now go to Menu>Jump to address>hex> and type 00056ce0>Ok
or GB version of Swype: Now go to Menu>Jump to address>hex> and type 00070f90>Ok
4. There just change the DD A2 5B (deault for blue trail) cells to your desired hex colour. Just refer above website for color codes.
Eg: Clour Greenyellow Code : AD FF 2F, however the code should be entered in reverse order as 2F FF AD
5. Menu>save file
Now reboot, open swype and check the path trail color..

TouchWiz 4.0 For Galaxy SL I9003

In there, you will find severall added options:

For appdrawer:
-column count
-item count per page
-free sort mode / alphabetical sort
-enable/disable colored tiles

For Homescreen:
-enable Landscape mode (if you change from off to on -> needs a reboot to take effect)
-use big page indicator icons
-whether to show the App names
-uninstall apps from homescreen [on/off]
-page indicator icon fades off after swiping [on/off]
-amount of rows on homescreen
-screen count
-defaultscreen (starts at 0)
-amount of icons in dock (not tested with higher numbers then 5)

INSTRUCTIONS :

1. YOUR PHONE MUST BE ROOTED
2. USE ROOT EXPLORER AND MOUNT THE SYSTEM AS R/W.
3. PLACE THE TouchWiz30Launcher.APK IN SYSTEM/APP
4. NOW PLACE THE libglcanvas.so IN THE SYSTEM/LIB

BUGS :
1. Getting fc when you click on edit button

Flashing The Firmware I9003 Galaxy SL

1. Download and run odin.
2. Check Re-Partition, Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.
3. Click PIT button and select this file: latona_20110114.pit
4. Put your phone into download mode: Press Volume down + OK + Power.
5. Connect USB cable and the program will detect the phone's Com number.
6. Click Start button to download the PIT file to phone.
7. After it is Done Click on Reset button, then unselect Re-Partition box.
8. Click PDA button and select this file: I9003xxxxx-xxx...-PDA-low-CL890053.tar.md5
9. Click PHONE button and select this file: MODEM_I9003xxxxx_REV_00_CL889972.tar.md5
10. Click CSC button and select this file: GT-I9003-CSC-xxxxxx.tar.md5
11. Remove the battery, then enter Device into Download Mode again.
12. Click Start button to flash these files to phone.
13. Do not touch anything till you see PASS on the program window.
14. Just do a factory reset after flashing using recovery
